| Formatted contents note | 《基督教与近现代北京社会》主要讲述了：对北京基督教的历史作一个较为深入的探究，笔者较早就有此想法，但因为诸多原因一直未能动笔，拖至现在得以如愿，促使我完成此愿的是北京联合大学北京学基地，它批准我做了一个课题“基督教对近现代北京的影响”。自博士研究生阶段开始对北京近现代史产生兴趣以来，笔者大量阅读相关书籍，不断参加相关学术交流活动，并在这一过程中发现，北京基督教史的研究仍旧是一块尚需深入的领域，已经面世的相关学术成果很少，这是我申报本课题的原因之一。原因之二是，自2007年起我成为研究生导师，为了带领我的学生做些研究，我让他们参与了该课题，使他们多得些锻炼。原因之三是，我的本职工作虽为教师，但我同时也在北京联合大学北京文化史研究所和北京联合大学民族与宗教研究所做兼职研究员，为了使自己不徒有研究员之名，尽力做些研究、出些成果似乎成笔者理所应当之事。摆在读者面前的书就是该课题的最终成果。<br/><br/>在写作过程中，笔者发现，基督教对近现代北京社会的影响很大，但北京社会对基督教的影响也不小。基督教在近现代北京的历史表明，两者的互动一直存在，且随着时代的变迁而变化，要很好地论述基督教对近现代北京的影响，不考察后者对前者的影响是不全面的和不够深入的。于是，笔者调整了一下研究范围，使本课题的内容更加充实，论证更加充分。 |
